Hello,
I love using the tools that I am able to use! My students love them and think they are like magic. I sometimes get stuck when a personal email is needed for use but I am learning how to deal with that, too.
I think some of the most exciting tools are voicethreads and roxer and jotit.
I read about the teen second life site. That seems to be a decent place for the kids to use for social networking. Most of my kids are not old enough to use those kinds of tools but they sure enjoy simple tools like imaginationcubed.
It’s all such exciting stuff!

I think the use of social networking tools to keep parents updated on activities and events in the classroom could be a valuable public relations tool. Also, for students (and teachers) who may be traveling abroad on an exchange trip, the possibility of sharing their
experiences with those at home (family, friends, and the classmates who were unable to go on the trip)would be very valuable.
